iPoop

This is a good one. It seems like such a legitamate idea, one that is educational and thought provoking, yet why does anyone need an iPhone app dedicated to the quality of poop? Sure, the idea is good – but I think if I was really worried about it I would a) see a doctor or b) I could wait until I got home to just go on a website. At any rate, iPoop is a 99 cent app designed to give you insight into your life based on the frequency, color and shape of your poop. Really.

This is gross and it causes me to have mental images of like people sitting on the toilet pooping and whipping out their iPhones to do this. Ew.
And just imagine having to go to the bathroom and then look and use your judgment to determine the shape and color? Like why would you do that by choice? Ever.
Thanks for your mention. We pride ourselves on having made the app that would raise such questions. Maybe you will find the v2 of the app appealing when we release the Log-log. You can track the date time and characteristics of your poop. Likewise we have seen a good response from old people and new moms.

Playing with your phone while taking a dump is acceptable, but I’m not sure how cool I am with the idea of people documenting it…
